1. Formal Quotations — Same Day
Every enquiry receives a formal, branded VAT-inclusive quotation — issued within hours of your request. No waiting days for a price list. No vague verbal estimates.
Each quotation includes:

- Banking details for EFT payment
- Valid-until date (30 days)

2. Nationwide Delivery & Collection
We deliver to all 9 provinces via specialist couriers equipped to handle heavy industrial equipment safely. Delivery fees are confirmed upfront at the time of quotation — no surprises.
Delivery timelines:
- Gauteng: 1-2 business days
- Other provinces: 3-5 business days
- Cross-border (Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Eswatini): collection from Sandton or delivery to a Gauteng freight forwarder

3. Factory Calibration
Every scale dispatched from our warehouse is factory calibrated before it leaves — ensuring it is accurate and ready to use from day one. You do not need to arrange separate calibration on arrival.
Our scales carry CE certification (No. VTÚPV-073/2018/ZAHR, valid until September 2028), confirming compliance with EN 61000-6-1 and EN 61000-6-3 EMC standards.
Calibration documentation is available on request — contact us after purchase if you require this for your procurement or quality management records.
4. Post-Sale Calibration Support
For scales purchased from us that require recalibration over time — due to wear, environmental factors, or periodic compliance checks — we provide remote calibration guidance via phone or WhatsApp.
We walk you through the recalibration process for your specific model using the scale’s built-in calibration function, at no additional charge for scales within their 6-month warranty period.
Important: This is a remote support service — we do not offer onsite calibration visits. If your operation requires an onsite SANAS-accredited calibration certificate, we recommend engaging a specialist calibration laboratory for that purpose and are happy to advise.

5. Scale Repairs
We offer repair services for scales purchased from Industrial Scales South Africa. If your scale develops a fault — load cell issues, display problems, battery failure, or other defects — contact us to arrange assessment and repair.
How it works:
- Contact us to describe the fault — we diagnose remotely where possible
- If repair is required, you courier the scale to our Sandton warehouse
- We assess, repair, and return the scale to you
- Courier costs are for the customer’s account unless the repair falls within warranty
Warranty repairs: Faults confirmed as manufacturing defects within the 6-month warranty period are repaired at no charge. Customer-caused damage (impact, overloading, water damage) falls outside warranty scope.
Out-of-warranty repairs: Contact us for a repair assessment and quotation.
Important: We do not offer onsite repair visits — all repairs are handled at our Sandton workshop.

6. Scale Servicing & Maintenance
For businesses that require periodic servicing and maintenance of their scales — to maintain accuracy and extend equipment lifespan — we offer a remote servicing advisory service for scales purchased from us.
This includes:
- Guidance on cleaning and maintenance procedures for your specific model
- Troubleshooting common accuracy issues remotely
- Advice on when recalibration is needed
- Battery replacement guidance and supply (where applicable)
Important: We do not offer onsite maintenance visits. Physical servicing that cannot be completed by the scale owner with our remote guidance requires the scale to be couriered to our Sandton workshop.

7. CE Certification Documentation

Do you service scales not purchased from you?
No — our repair and servicing services are for scales purchased from Industrial Scales South Africa only.
How long does a repair take?
Repair timelines depend on the fault. Simple issues (battery replacement, indicator problems) are typically resolved within 2-3 business days of the scale arriving at our workshop. More complex repairs may take longer — we will advise on timeline at the time of assessment.
Do you offer a maintenance contract?
We do not currently offer formal maintenance contracts. Remote maintenance guidance is available on a per-request basis for scales purchased from us.
